Si Jolie x French Fashion x Western Reserve Historical Society

One of fashion’s biggest influences is the country of France, at a point in time every major fashion house was in Paris. The new exhibit at the Western Reserve Historical Society focuses on french fashion worn by Clevelanders. These Clevelanders were socialites, fashion directors and philantropists. Patty Edmonson (Museum Curator) has curated an amazing exhibit highlighting women in Cleveland and their sense of style.

Patty took a huge risk by highligting the women of that time because they are often glazed over due to the nature of that time. The exhibit also explores history of Cleveland and it’s wealthy which I was suprised to learn! I had the pleaseure of helping her put the final touches on the exhiibit. This included me fluffing skirts and dress and tweaking mannequin placement. I even hung a curtain!

Make sure you go check it out!
